HOW TO WIN THE BATTLE

1) Understand Axie type strengths and weaknesses

  • Reptile/Plant/Dusk has (plus)+15% damage attack against Aquatic/Bird/Dawn
  • Aquatic/Bird/Dawn has (plus)+15% damage attack against Beast/Bug/Mech
  • Beast/Bug/Mech has (plus)+15% damage attack against Reptile/Plant/Dusk
on the vice versa
  • Reptile/Plant/Dusk will have (minus)-15% damage attack against Beast/Bug/Mech
  • Beast/Bug/Mech will have (minus)-15% damage attack against Aquatic/Bird/Dawn
  • Aquatic/Bird/Dawn will have (minus)-15% damage attack against Reptile/Plant/Dusk

2) Position your Axies properly.

Axies usually attack the enemy nearest to them. The most obvious positioning rule is ***Putting a tank Axie (like:Plants) in the front. ***Midlaners are usually a mix of damage dealer Axies and some decent amount of HP. ***Backliners are the main damage dealers (But most of the time have low HP).
Note that once you enter a battle, you can no longer change your Axie’s positions so make sure to plan them ahead carefully.

3) Count your enemy’s energy every turn.

This will increase the chances to steal your enemy’s energy especially if you can predict what cards they will throw. Remember, in this game you always think of your enemy’s move (just like in chess) rather than your next move. Cause your move will always depends on what you think they will cast on you
Proper energy management can be unleashed a great combo to win the battle

4) Check your enemy’s team.

Always check your enemy’s cards. If you know their cards it will be easier for you to predict the combo’s/move that they will do.

5) Take advantage of combos

A set of combo abilities may be more effective rather than casted individually
For example, one of the most common combo is the Nut Throw & Nut Crack combo. Both cards deal 105 Attack damage, but if they are casted together in one turn, both attacks will deal 120% more damage.

6) Pass a turn

Players get 3 Energy at the start of a match, and gain 2 Energy on every succeeding rounds.
Most of the time, especially during the first turn, you should consider not casting any cards and just pass the turn.
This will save up your current Energy and carry it over to the next round.

When you pass on the first turn, you can gain a max of 5 Energy (3+2) for the next round, which allows you to cast more cards and perform a powerful combo. This way, you’ll have more chances of killing an enemy Axie in just a single turn by unleashing a series of high-attack damage moves, giving the opponent no chance to recover. Additionally, passing also gives you an opportunity to wait and gather more cards required for that perfect combo.

7) Beware of Energy steal cards

Energy Steal cards allow you to steal your enemy's energy if they have one in their energy pool. If your opponent has 0 energy, you will not gain energy from stealing. Energy Gaining, cards with energy gain guarantees that you will get +1 energy if you are able to meet the card's requirements.

8) Learn all Buffs and Debuffs and what they do
